Satay Khas Senayan in Jakarta

Overrated, some dishes are not made authentic. Only too many choices of traditional dishes. And too crowded. Could not focus on each and every menu.

I gave 3 stars because the consistency of the food, the taste still same not extraordinary but was ok. The services was bad, i meant really bad, the waiters ignore me when i raised my hand, pretend not to see me and see another corner which is there is no customers there. Another thing, it took them 30minutes to provide a chili sauce after I asked them a second time

I come to this place to meet friends and have dinner in weekday. Their tables quite occupied by group of people. Indonesia Foods and ambience reflected in this restaurant. Their fish and sate are recommended. Their smoking room is in the same room, but different area only. If you need to go to the restroom, you will pass this smoking room.

Ate here 1 hour before closing, Nasi uduk, the corn fritter was melempem (stiff), the nasi was cold.

The quality of the food in this resto is always great. The service is also good. The staff is nice and helpful. But the price can be seen quite expensive for some... For me, overall it is still worth it as long as they keep up the quality and the service.

Excellent Indonesian food. Ordered Nasi Bakar Cakalang, surprised by its huge portion, and loved every bite.

It's good place, very strategic. Near the embassies and government building. Kind of special because it feels quite here.Unfortunately it's a little bit need effort (or tricky maybe) to get here. I have to open direction from maps to make sure the driver pick the right turn. The waiter so hospitable as expected from a great restaurant. The nuance also great to have meeting / family meet up. Just beware when you order food. It's portion quite big to make you full before you finish all the meal. Don't worry, you can wrap the meal for take away if you want to finish your meal later

Such delicious food. The customer service was awesome. Despite going half an hour before closing. The food was still freshly prepared.

Delicious Indonesian chicken sate and grilled mini lamb sausages on sweet sauce. Savoury sayur asem soup. Kopyor coconut drink was totally refreshing.

The place and waiters response were quite fast but the satay taste and servings somehow not quite as I was expected. The "hot plate" which was used to be the plate for the satay, that produces sizzling sound was gone. I used to visit them in Jalan Pakubuwono, some 30 years ago in my wonderful childhood era, and that hot plate is what I now missed the most.

They taste very good. Actually I just know they serve Nasi Bakar with 3 flavour. The price quite high, but it suit for business meeting, gathering or maybe family (elite👍)

Great Indonesian restaurant, their chicken satay is unique since the peanut sauce is so thick and smooth. Try their tahu telor and es cincau hijau. Price is quite expensive.

Great indonesian restaurant. They have several branch and most of the food is good and fresh. People love their Satay and Lontong Go Meh but I order Nasi Begana and Nasi Bali today. I like it also, especially the Nasi Bali.

You should eat their special tofu, fried tape, mix tofu-egg after their hitz satay.

One of my go-to place for lunch. Because of their food & it’s so near to my house! Well they have so many branches, which makes it accessible. My favorite menu is definitely their Sate Ayam. Lean chicken fillet, perfectly grilled, served with super creamy & smooth peanut sauce. The sauce is more on the sweet side, but it’s just the way i like it. Another one to try is Tahu Kipas served with sweet&sour chili sauce. Crazy delicious!!!

You can find variety of the most delicious Indonesian food here. I would say all food taste perfect, not randomly prepared. A bit pricey like $$ but worth it. Cozy & relaxing atmosphere.

If you want to taste Indonesian foods, Sate Khas Senayan is one restaurant who provide all of it. They sell Indonesian snacks, appetizers, main dishes, until desserts! Definitely one great restaurant for an Indonesian cuisine adventure. Their Chicken Skin Satay and Gurame Pesmol are delicious!!!!!!!!!!!

Definitely my favourite place for satay when I'm in Indonesia. This branch is also very spacious n three food is served better than outlets at the mall.Parking is a bit difficult here so best to not drive. There are many other spots around, so having coffee or dessert after a meal is quite convenient and a wide variety is available.
